Youth Ballet 2: Fall 2026

Class Description

For students who have completed a year our Ballet 1 class, and now have the beginnings of a strong foundation in classical ballet. Students attend two classes each week at our ballet studio in Davis, California. A continuation class to Ballet 1, Ballet 2 continues training for both barre and center work, incorporating new exercises and positions. Ballet 2 students are expected to enter with a minimum level of foundational ballet skills. Students with no ballet experience should first attend Ballet 1 classes until advanced by the instructor. At Applegate Dance Studio, we value empowering dancers by providing a fun and nurturing approach to self expression through movement and dance. Entering student are typically 8-10 years of age. For newer dancers that are 10 years old and older, our "adult" Very Beginning Ballet and Continuing Beginning Ballet classes will be more age appropriate until you have the skills necessary to join our Youth Ballet 3 or 4 level classes. Some dates are skipped due to holidays.
