    Summer classes at Applegate Dance Studio are à la carte. You can pick and choose your own selection of classes, switching up your schedule from week to week to best fit around your vacations, and to enable you optimal flexibility to focus in on the areas you most want to advance in. 2023 Summer dance classes run July 5 through August 18, with no classes on August 15 and 16. While you can register for classes last minute, many of the more popular classes fill up in advance. We therefore recommend advanced registration to ensure you get into all the summer classes that you want. Audition classes are open to ALL dancers. You are not required to be auditioning for Applegate Dance Company in order to take audition classes. However, for those wishing to audition, we recommend taking as many of the audition classes as your summer schedule permits.     A continuation class to Ballet 1, Ballet 2 students are expected to understand upon entering class the exercises taught in Ballet 1. While new students are welcome to enroll in Ballet 2, students with no ballet experience should first Ballet pink footed tights, pink leather or canvas ballet shoes. - Boys: White shirt, black shorts/tights /ballet pants, black ballet slippers, white socks. - Long hair should be pinned into a secure bun. -

  • Continued Beginning Ballet

    Designed for Adults and Teens with an understanding of the basics of ballet, looking to increase their abilities and enjoy the physical fitness of dancing ballet. If you have no previous experience in ballet, you might consider our Beginning Adult Ballet Class which Those with more experience might eventually consider one of our two Intermediate to Advanced Ballet Footwear: Ballet Slippers recommended but alternatively you can wear socks.
